We are pleased to announce some positive press from the OC Register! The Register’s Science editor, M. Pat Brennan, posted an article yesterday (12/20/11) that he wrote in response to the buzz growing around the author’s extraordinary friendship with her wild animal neighbors.

‘They play on toy cars, a doll house, tiny tables and chairs; they hop into the livingroom and up the steps to the bedroom, their cottontails bouncing; and they return, year after year, to be captured on camera by Orange County’s own “bunny whisperer.”’

I found you through the Register article and I say “where have you been all my child’s life?” I’m planning on sharing a Bunny Book or two with her preschool too. Lovely work and thank you for sharing it with us.
We are so glad that you found us! We are thrilled to hear that you will be sharing the books at your daughter’s preschool, we feel very strongly that our books should be shared with children everywhere. Thank you for your comments and stay in touch…there are some wonderful things coming up in 2012! Thanks again!
I wanted to post a happy, true, uplifting piece on my blog during the holidays. I have written about Marilyn on my blog post of Dec. 23. You can read it at

What a wonderful write-up about Marilyn and her bunny friends! Not only does her relationship with the bunnies enhance her own life, but she has devoted herself to passing on the specialness of wildness to children through her books. I hope she will be successful through extensive publicity and book sales in passing on to many more children the preciousness of wild creatures. It would also be wonderful if any researchers can explain why Marilyn’s relationship to these bunnies is unique, as well as how bunnies communicate with each other that it’s okay to visit her home.
